Our Story

It has been an incredible few decades at John’s Sprinkler Systems, and it all stated with owner and founder John's passion for the outdoors! John wanted to create a business that could help people enhance their own outdoor spaces through landscaping, hardscapes, and sprinkler services, and has been offering his community members of Orland Park just that since 1996. Our team has seen a lot of growth and change over the years but one thing remains the same - we take pride in the quality of our work and the excellent customer service that we offer with every job.

Our team consists of not only family members but also dedicated and skilled staff who share the same passion for the outdoors. We specialize in landscaping, hardscaping, and sprinkler system installations and repairs. We have worked on numerous projects, from small residential homes to large commercial properties. We have been with no fewer than 4 different water sprinkler companies since our system was installed in the early 90’s. Since then we’ve been forced to change service companies for every reason including incorrect billing, exorbitant rates, unprofessional conduct, incompetence, miscommunication on service dates, cancellations without notification and, finally, simply folding the tent and closung their business. The last two were in the latter category. In searching for a new company, we found John’s Sprinkler via Google, placed a call to their office, was greeted by a friendly and apparently competent employee who helped set a date and time for start-up service. Fees were discussed, along with services provided, clearly and concisely. Prior to actual date of service, we received a reminder call. However, on date of service the weather was really bad. We were contacted by John’s Sprinkler personnel who explained that the weather precluded them performing the scheduled service and that we should reschedule. When we did contact John’s to set another date, they set it for another 20 days out. On rescheduled date of service, between the hours agreed, Julio and Jusn showed up. They immediately identified a leak they assumed related to our system, but determined it was not related. They then installed the RPT valve, checked all Zones, adjusted the sprayer/sprinkler heads, checked the rainfall shutoff device, changed the system control battery, recalibrated day/times operation settings and instructed me on how to by-pass the rain shutoff. In all the years of dealing with companies, we have never engaged with one that was as thurough or professional. Julio and Jusn were courteous, informative, professional and friendly. A a result, we are more than gratified that we discovered and have now contracted with John’s Sprinkler Systems so that we can be assured our service will be reliable and done right, whether it is start-up or winterization. Thank you for taking us on as customers. You guys do business the way it should be done. P.S. They also addressed the aforementioned unrelated leak…but that’s another good story.
